UpTheVolume – Tell us about your latest release?
Emblazed –
It is a mix of 4 different kind of songs. You can hear that it is the same band but the songs vary a lot. It has all kinds of elements from different kinds of music styles. We wanted to create a portfolio of what we are. Sometimes we are closer to industrial metal and sometimes to more classic heavy metal. We call our music ”mental metal”.

UpTheVolume – How did the idea for the cover come about?
Emblazed –
The cover work was to be made spectacular and eye-catching.

UpTheVolume – What is your favorite song and why?
Emblazed –
I guess the answer to this question is ”Taking a chance”, because it is a mix of all the songs on this EP. It has a bold melody which will stick in peoples heads for a long time. Also the lyrics worked out well and fit the songs general feeling. Also the song has an upbeat feeling to it. Metal songs do not need to be so negative always.

UpTheVolume – Which bands influenced your style?
Emblazed –
We’ve tried not to copy your style from anyone.

UpTheVolume – Which cover would you like to include in your next release ?
