New project for the French quintet of Toxi Faktory titled “The Tower Below”, preceded by “Massive Lies” that the band wanted to deliver to its fans in a re-printed version for the occasion.
With “The Tower Below” Toxi Faktory offer us a full-bodied and violent metal alternative. Lead vocalist Niko’s scream hits us like a tsunami over a powerful rhythm and a skilful use of keyboards that act as a good carpet and make listening even more special. A solid, powerful sound well distributed on the eleven tracks that make up this new album. Sharp riffs, rough atmosphere and at the same time with a remarkable build, make this “The Tower Below” a new precious pearl to keep in your collection, with a picture that is completed with a section of drums that like a sharp razor cuts l ‘atmosphere.
Toxi Faktory make sporadic use of more melodic grafts to make listening varied without giving up rhythmic scream grooves and pounding riffs, to have as a result a greater sound power choice that we fully share.
“The Tower Below” is a punch in the stomach that cannot be avoided, a torrent full of metal alternatives that overwhelms us and drags us with its impetus. We expect great things from them for the future because the conditions are all there to rock hard!
