I would define Walls of Babilon as a fundamentally metal band, but the term in question also includes other types of alternative influences. What is sure is that there are no dull moments in their new recording titled, “Fallen”.

In short, these guys play a timeless genre, sometimes classifiable as a crossover, that crossover full of experiments, in its pure state, and this, all very pleasant to listen to and not stereotyped. A vocal line that imposes itself on the rest of the instrumentation, managing to amalgamate and enhance the general sound. The songs all have their own reason and slip away energetic and played as God commands. In my opinion this is enough and more to promote a record like “Fallen”.

But the most beautiful thing about this album is that while it doesn’t invent anything new (or at least not entirely new), it makes you want to be listened to again once it’s finished, and this is surely the sign that the band in question has a lot to say and that manages to establish a certain alchemy with the listeners. We are already waiting for the next album to see further evolutions in the Walls of Babilon house.
